Mark was playing
with a blues band when David noticed his skills, later asking him
to join the Purple Tree project. Mark played drums for 30+ years before
joining Purple Tree. He also performed live on a few occasions with
Mitch Ryder, Joan Jett, and Strawberry Alarm Clock. |

only member recruited for rhythm guitar throughout the history of
Purple Tree. Although David prefers playing his own rhythm, originally
he had planned on being just the lead singer / keyboardist for live
performances. Only one performance to date showcased Purple Tree as
a five piece. |

Dave was a dear
friend that was killed in a car accident in 2005. He is deeply missed
and fondly remembered as an extremely talented young man with a personality
that could illuminate a room. He aspired to be an audio engineer one
